A bikini wax removes hair outside the underwear line for a neat, tidy finish. A Brazilian removes most of the hair, leaving a small strip or triangle at the front. A Hollywood removes all hair front to back. If you're unsure which is right for you, our concierge or your waxing expert can help you decide.

For the best results, hair should be at least 5mm long — roughly two to three weeks of growth — so the wax can grip effectively. Avoid shaving in between appointments, as this disrupts the growth cycle. Your waxing expert can advise on timing for future bookings.
Make sure hair is long enough (around 5mm), exfoliate gently a day or two beforehand, and arrive with clean, dry skin free of lotions and oils. Avoid sunbathing, hot baths or strenuous exercise immediately before. If you're prone to sensitivity, you may wish to take pain relief around 30 minutes ahead.
There's some discomfort, particularly for intimate waxing or your first appointment, but it lessens with regular waxing as hair grows back finer. To minimise it, keep to a regular schedule, exfoliate beforehand, avoid waxing around your period when skin is more sensitive, and let your expert know if you'd like them to work more slowly.
Most clients re-book every four to six weeks, in line with the hair growth cycle. Waxing regularly keeps regrowth finer and sparser over time, and makes each appointment more comfortable.
Many people continue waxing through pregnancy, though skin can be more sensitive. If you're pregnant or have any skin conditions, let your waxing expert know in advance so they can tailor the treatment, and check with your doctor if you have any concerns.
