Yes. Many facials are suitable and wonderful during pregnancy — a relaxing, hydrating or bespoke facial can be a real comfort. Microneedling is a well-established treatment when carried out by a trained, qualified professional — which is why Ruuby only offers it through vetted facialists experienced in the treatment, never as a DIY service. It works by creating tiny controlled channels in the skin to stimulate collagen, improving texture, fine lines and scarring. Expect some redness for 24 to 48 hours afterwards, similar to mild sunburn. Your facialist will assess your skin first and provide full aftercare. It's not suitable during pregnancy or for certain skin conditions, so a consultation comes first.

Arrive with clean skin where possible. If you're booking an advanced or results-driven treatment, pause strong actives for a few days beforehand — including retinol (vitamin A), AHAs (glycolic and lactic acid) and BHAs (salicylic acid) — as these can leave skin more sensitive.
